That one Disabled Parking spot was also tricky. The spot is in the elbow of the strip mall. At a 90 degree angle to a regular parking spot. If you’re in a long van, you will block the other spot. If that other spot is taken by a long vehicle, you’ll be blocked. Tricky. When we were leaving, we noticed some broken glass in our spot. Not a lot, but some. Undoubtedly from a collision caused by the dueling spots.

And let’s not forget about the tricky ramp. Tricky in a good way. On one side of the ramp is a curb. And that curb is painted white. And somebody decided to paint the right side of the ramp with white paint. On first glance, it looks like the ramp is too narrow, but it’s not. It’s just fine. Just a little paint trickery.

Entering was fine. Well, as fine as you can get with a strip mall door. My wife always worries about my hands being scratched by the entrance ways. And sometimes they do get scraped. But not this time.

This restaurant has a lot of tables. But navigating was easy. Lots of accessible tables. Lots of aisle room.

Our table was on the opposite end of the restaurant from the bathroom. In some restaurants that would have been a problem, but the aisles were wide and I had no trouble getting there. The bathroom was a single occupant BR. It was on the right with the door (heavy) opening inward with the handle near me and the hinges away from me. That’s always awkward and difficult to work. Inside there was plenty of room to roll around. Hand grips were in place and the TP near. The wash bowl was a bit high but workable. But there was a problem. The bathroom floor was lower than the outside floor. Easy coming in but I almost got stuck getting out. It took a couple of tries to maneuver it.

But for the parking, Saii is great.
