Inside, there are some booths, but there are many tables. And they are all accessible.
I’ve probably eaten there a dozen times and never noticed the indoor ramp. The ramp goes down to the bar area and there are tables there. That’s where we got seated and all the tables in the area are accessible. But I just don’t like indoor ramps. As ramps go, this one wasn’t too bad. But it’s always easier to go down than up.
Unfortunately, there was no straight shot to the bathroom. No matter which way you go, it’s a long ride. The restrooms are at the back near the cashier’s station. Which is a good thing, because there is always somebody there and YOU WILL NEED HELP getting into and out of the bathroom because the door is uber-heavy.
But inside the bathroom all was perfect. The stall door was easy to open and close and there was plenty of room to turn around. Plenty of room for a caregiver, too. AND, baby changing station was in the main bathroom area and not in the stall. The handles on the main bathroom door were workable with a closed fist, but, again, the door itself was big time heavy.
Soon we will be equipped to actually measure the opening force.
But for the bathroom door, Applebee’s is a very accessible restaurant,
