It's Sunny at Sunny Side Up

review

Good Points
The restaurant itself is a very "open" plan so is very accessible for people in chairs or walkers. The breakfast is fantastic - which explains why this little "mom and pop" place gives the retail giants like IHOP and Jimmy's Egg a run for their money.
Bad Points

There is limited handicapped parking and the space is not marked with a sign. It MAY have been that the space itself was marked but, if so, then it must have been a small icon close to the center of the space because it was not visible under the vehicles parked there. The hallway to the restrooms were also the storage area for bus tables and high chairs. The lock on the stall is an after-market barrel bolt. Although there is a trashcan under the cabinet, there is also one in the stall.

Comments
The double door with a vestibule in between might be difficult to maneuver with a chair or a walker if you were alone. There IS a cutout on the front of the building but the parking spaces across from it are not marked as handicapped, plus you would have to cross the traffic lane to access it. Then you would have to traverse the sidewalk around to the side of the building where the door is located. There is a newspaper rack in the lane where you would have to maneuver which could prove difficult. The counter where you go to pay is higher than chair height; however the people are all very accommodating so I am sure they would assist in any way they could.
