Paul D. Cardin - A Short Biography

Paul D. Cardin received his B.S. in Business from Oklahoma City University in 1969.

He married Barbara Jean Tobin, then of Oklahoma City, OK, in 1978. They have two adult children.

Mr. Cardin worked in the public accounting field his entire life, retiring in 1995.

Prior to establishing Wheat Communications, Inc., with his wife in 1998, Mr. Cardin worked as a consultant to national pro-family organizations and law enforcement in the fight against child pornography and obscenity on the Internet

In 2004 Mr. Cardin became dependent upon a wheelchair for mobility. While adapting to wheelchair mobility, he became aware of many restaurant accessibility issues. He discovered quickly that even if a restaurant said that they were “Wheelchair Accessible” they did not necessarily mean “Wheelchair Friendly.”
