But once you find it there are two nice spots right by the front door with an ample access aisle. And there is a double wide ramp to the front that barely has an incline. Wide front doors with accessible grab handles. I got through without scratching my knuckles, which is rare.
The waiting area is spacious and the first thing you notice is the lift. Yep, they have a lift to take you from one level to another. I was a little apprehensive at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was awesome. I could play on it all day. :-) You go up to the dining area or down to the sushi bar and restrooms.
The dining area was spacious. The tables were all accessible.
There was an uncluttered hallway to the restrooms. The restroom door was perfect. Not too heavy. Not too light. Inside the restroom, it was a little tight. There were two stalls. One was accessible. The only drawback is that the stall door did not have a handle. And the door opened out. I had to reach under to grab the door and open it. And you have to fully close the outside door in order to have room to open the stall door. All was spacious in the stall, however. Grab rails in place.
This is one of the rare situations in which one area (accessible by lift) is so extraordinary that it makes up for a slight oversight in the restroom. So we're rating the restroom accessibility a 5.0 instead of 4.5.
Great job, Guernsey. Great job.
